Hospitality Operations Specialized Technician

Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and customer service. Your main responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish.

bon Vivant, a new American restaurant is located in the historic McGillicuddy building on the corner of Ash and Lisbon streets in Lewiston. bon Vivant focuses on local products offering new American food crafted with French-fusion and classic techniques, featuring local farm products and producers from the Lewiston-Auburn area and across the State of Maine. bon Vivant offers a wine-heavy menuand classic cocktails, in a casual fine-dining, comfortable atmosphere. We prideourselves on providing every customer with an exceptional experience, every time.

bon Vivant is now hiring Hosts who have an interest in working in a newrestaurant at a growing company. Must have a great attitude, be a team player,and maintain our existing high-quality standards.

Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and group sizes
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure efficient table turnover
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Utilize RESY systems to manage seating assignments and track table availability

Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic restaurant operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically TOAST POS, is a plus

Schedule: weekends and weekdays

Hiring timeline: Immediate

Expected wage rate: $15 dependent upon experience and qualifications
